I am really enjoying my new primer and new face powder from Benefit.

I have only used a few items from Benefit, but nothing I really cared too much about...

However, I love "That gal" brightening face primer. It has a soft pink tint that gives your face an opal glow and leaves it super soft and smells amazing because of the Raspberry fruit extract. My husband keeps complementing the way my face smells, every time I put it on. LOL..

I also love right now "Hello Flawless" powder cover up for face. I have used many powders, but I really like how this powder works. It is packaged with a sponge and brush for you to choose how to apply the powder. For more coverage use the sponge and for a lighter coverage use the brush. For days that I do not have time to apply my foundation, I can use Benefits "Hello Flawless". It has good coverage, includes spf 15, and looks amazing when paired with "That gal" face primer.

I completely recommend using both these products together for best results. I had to blog about these products, because I am so happy and content with my purchase and I love the way my face looks.

So, What Are Some Realistic Recommendations?

While exercise cannot necessarily eliminate cellulite, new studies have shown that consistent physical training might, in fact, reduce its appearance.

Several studies note that female athletes, who generally have a lower percent body fat regularly have less cellulite. So, a caloric-restricted diet plan to help reduce some of the underlying body fat should be implemented. Aerobic exercise at least 3 to 5 times a week for at least 20 to 60 minutes will help create a satisfactory caloric deficit.

1. Choose a mode of exercise that you enjoy such as:
walking Stair
stepping
jogging
Cycling
aerobic dance
Swimming
elliptical training rowing

If available, alternate modes of aerobic exercise to regularly give your body some variety. Perhaps most essential to your exercise agenda is your resistance exercise program.
The subcutaneous fat rests on top of muscle, and if the muscle is weak and flaccid, this can contribute to the ‘bumpy’ effect of cellulite.
Although there is not one best system of sets and repetitions to firm all of your leg muscles, regularly include the following exercises in your resistance training program.
Squats and leg press for the buttocks and thigh muscles.
All types of lunges for the thighs and buttocks. Hip exercises for the inner thighs.Hip abduction exercises for the outer thighs.Leg curls for the back of the thighs.

Exercise Routines to Reduce Cellulite

Exercise: Squats Target: The glutes and thighs How to do It:

1) Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.

2) Slowly lower the body by bending at the knees, keeping the thighs parallel with the floor.

3) Gradually straighten into standing position. The squat is one exercise you should include in your cellulite-reduction exercise routine. Performed properly, squats will help build the muscles on your thighs and buttocks, the areas of the body where cellulite is likely to show.

4) Perform three sets of 15 squats each.

Advanced Option: Hold five-pound weights in each hand, raising them above the shoulders.

Exercise: The Butt-Push Target: The glutes and thighs How to Do It:

1) Lie on your back with your knees up and pointed toward the ceiling. Feet should be firmly planted on the ground.

2) Slowly push your butt and stomach all the way up so that only your feet, head, and neck remain on the floor.

3) Slowly return to staring position. 4) Perform three sets on 25 butt-pushes each.

Advanced Option: Perform an additional set.

Exercise: Leg Dips Target: The abs and thighs How to Do It:

1) Lie on the floor or exercise mat.

2) Place hands behind your ears.

3) Raise both legs into the air so they point straight up.

4) Lower the legs until they are about 12 inches from the floor, keeping the back pushed up against the floor.

5) Raise the legs to starting position, keeping the back pushed against the floor.

6) Perform three sets of 15 leg dips each.

Advanced Option: Have your gym partner stand behind your shoulders, while you grip their ankles. Each time you raise your legs up your partner should push your legs back down, making it more difficult for you to stop the downward movement.

2. When integrated with a low-fat diet, this type of combination fitness program can help minimize existing cellulite and even prevent it from developing further.

A balanced diet of lean protein, vegetables, whole grains, and fruits will help to minimize the condition.

3. Tan your body.

No, not with the sun, with tanning lotion or spray. Sun tanning can actually damage the elasticity of your skin, making cellulite appearance worse.
The darker tone of tanned skin minimizes the appearance of bumpiness. Have you ever noticed how every figure flaw is so much more noticeable on a person with pale skin?

1. No matter how much you love a trend, if it doesn't go with your body type don't wear it.
I can honestly say we have all been Victims of this and will continue to be.. We would all love to have that certain figure we love like a mannequin but, lets face it not all of us have it, so make an effort to wear body conscious outfits. Its all about balance!!!! Find your size!!

2. Low rise Jeans shall never be worn if your stomach bulges out
yes!! we've all heard of the Famous Muffin top.. most girls have it but it shouldn't be sticking out of your jeans.. and especially if your shirt is too tight and short.. This is one of the biggest Mistakes we all tend to do. You look bigger than you are honestly... Wear longer shirts If you have a fuller middle..

3.Wear the right undergarments..
We have all been victims of wearing the wrong bra and panties, make sure you measure yourself, we will do a measuring Video blog for you soon, In the meantime, Ladies Showing you G string or thong is not Fashionable at all!! Just like wearing black underwear with white pants..!!! The new thing now is to wear underwear please don't show us your Britney..!! Especially if its not tamed down there!! Not wearing underwear in public is a big no no!!
and not clean at all.. It is recommended other wise to let your Private area Breath to take of your underwear sometimes at night and just wear your pajama bottoms.. So go ahead get crazy in your own private time.

4. Acrylic Nails... Yes we've all had the Acrylic fake nails at one point or another .. ( Except for some of you).. The rule with nails is keep them short.. Again this is not offending someone we are simply trying to help you, if you choose to have super long nails with bling go right ahead..
Fake nails come with a price besides being pricey if you keep up with them, they trap bacteria underneath and can get Crusty and just Disgusting.. that is why they should be kept short. and with a solid color, nails are such a small part of your body, to make them so noticeable, Save the extra effort for something else perhaps something in your wardrobe..

5.Splurge on the right items.. Personally If i love something, no matter what brand it is ,no matter how small the price I will buy it, I could care less, I rather splurge on what really matters, It may be shoes or a new Purse, not everything has to be name brand, we are not walking commercials or advertisements. It takes the same amount of time to throw on a nice top and bottom that it does to wear just a pair of sweatpants, we all get tired we have our days off when we are snuggling at home but, girls make an effort. If your wearing a wonderful purse but, the rest of you is simply just undone , you just ruined the whole purpose.. If you feel Beautiful you look Wonderful, a part of feeling Beautiful is also Fixing yourself, Make an effort!!

*I have just found out that Vinegar elimanates pimples quickly.. Dab vinegar on pimple with a Q-tip or cotton and dab on the spot needed on face. Gross- I know but works! I tried it and it did dry up the spot quickly, but be careful not to get it around eyes. Its very drying so make sure to keep face moisturized.

Your Hair at the Moment
It’s shiny and thick, thanks to all those hormones running through your body. HOwever, too much highlighting and flat-ironing can cause damage.

What to do
Shampooing less—two or so times a week—keeps hair healthier. Buffer hot-tool heat by first spritzing on a thermal spray.

Most Men's shaving creams and pre- shave products contain a high concentration of irritating ingredients such as alcohol, menthol, mint, potassium or sodium hydroxide, as well as camphor. These skin irritants make the hair follicle and skin swell, forcing the hair up and away from the skin. While this does make the hair stand up to some extent, for a closer shave, the irritation results swelling, So some of the hair can be hidden by the swollen skin. Meaning, after shaving, facial hair hidden beneath swollen skin, will have a harder time getting its way back to the surface, the likelihood of ingrown hair is increased.

Now think of splashing aftershave on a cut or scrape on any part of your body, why would you do that on your face? Rule number 1 for basic skin care for both men and women: If the skin care product you are using repeatedly burns, irritates, tingles, causes the skin to become inflamed, or hurts, don't use it.

Try using a gentle shave product that contains no skin irritants like fragrance free, and does not contain any menthol, peppermint, alcohol, lime, lemon, orange, grapefruit, eucalyptus, camphor, or mint.

For a gentle after shave, well there are virtually no men's aftershave product that are free of irritants. They are all filled with fragrance, alcohol, and almost all other irritating ingredient you can think of. The best after shave a man can use is a traditional irritant free toner. My favorite toner has to be by Estee Lauder. It contains no alcohol and I will never use no other toner. They have for dry, normal/combination, or for oily skin.

This is a common problem for many people, and its a problem we all want to get rid of. Here are some ways that can help fade or even get rid of your stretch marks. However, whichever product you use, you have to make it a routine and stick with it for at least 3 months for the true results.

-I have personally heard using the oil from vitamin E helps fade the appearance and some have told me that it actually removed there stretch marks completely. Apply twice a day. Once in the morning and the second at night. Everyday!

-Stretch marks can be somewhat healed using a good moisturizer. Though as they reside deep in the dermis layer of the skin, one has to use stretch mark creams that work at that level. Captiva stretch mark cream is said to stimulate new cell production at the dermal level to heal stretch marks.

I have researched many different sites online and here are the most common answers I have found.

In conclusion in looking at many different sites I have read over and over again that only a small amount of any product is actually absorbed into your system, that it is unlikely to get to the baby. Many women have dyed their hair during pregnancy with no negative reports. However, because the baby is receiving most of your nutrition, the hair changes, and can become brittle and damaged after dying the hair. It also may not come out the color chosen. Due to hormone changes the hair is in a different state then when you were not pregnant. Which causes the dye color to change slightly. Also, if you do dye your hair make sure in a well ventilated room, because it may cause you to get dizzy from the fumes. If you are still unsure, talk to your doctor and your hairdresser or use natural dye, like henna dye.

Ways to Make Your Eyes look Bigger

*Curl your lashes! Apply mascara first, then curl lashes after mascara is applied, but only when mascara is dried.

*To really make your eyes pop, apply mascara on your bottom lashes! To apply mascara on lower lashes, hold the brush vertically, then zig zag the brush back and forth.

* Add false lashes! The strips(bold, and exotic look) or individual lashes(for a more sutle and natural look). Prices may vary, but try buying them at beauty supply stores then department stores. They should run between $1-$4 anything more is too expensive for lashes.

* Seductive look- Apply a creamy white eyeshadow on the inside corner of both your upper and lower lids.

*Or try lining the inside of your lower lids with a white eye pencil. It works great with a smokey eye! Really makes your pop. I do it all the time, especially when I feel my eyes look red.

*Another way to open up eyes is to skip the white eyeliner and opt instead for a opal color highlighter. Dot along the browbone, then blend in. Apply highlighter at the inner corners of your eyes. Follow with eye shadow. I use Benefit High Brow Pencil.

* Make sure your brows are groomed. Until you get your brows professionally waxed, tweezed or threaded, you won't realize how much they affect the rest of your face. I find once you get a professional brow job, you can do it yourself for a few months using the pro job as a guide of where to tweeze. To keep brows in place, try a clear eyebrow gel or just spritz a bit of hairspray onto a brush brow into perfect place.

I know everyone wants great looking skin. But to achieve that- beside having it in your genes, you need your skin to be healthy. Here are foods I have found that can help prevent premature aging and a healthy glow to your skin.

First you need to know that anti-oxidents contains vitamin A, C, E which help protect skin cells from aging, like free radicals. Free radical damage is caused by sun exposure that can cause cancer and premature aging. So try eating food that contain anti oxidants.

Blackberry, Blueberry, Strawberry, plum
-These four fruits contain the most anti-oxident (help hold skin together by forming collagen) capacity than any other fruit. Amazing for the skin and to fight against free radical damage (damaged caused by sun exposure).

Apple Cider Vinegar
-Beside having amazing healing properties, apple cider vinegar keeps skin supple. It's heavy concentration of enzymes helps peel off dead skin cells. It breaks down fat and helps food digest properly.

Carrots
-Maintain the outer layer of the skin to prevent premature aging. What you'll find in is the same as you'll get in Retin A.

Cheese
-To ensure a happy smile, add a slice or two of hard cheeese into your diet. Choose Swiss, cheddar, or gouda to block bacteria in the mouth and prevent cavities.

Cranberries
-Keep urinary tract lining healthy.

Garlic
-Helps combat wrinkles and restores tissue.

Nonfat Yogurt
-High in calcium which keeps your smile white and your teeth cavity-free.

Sweet Potatoes
-Vitamin A is known to be a remarkable anti-wrinkling agent. Sweet potatoes are full of this important vitamin. The pleasing results is clearer, smoother skin.

Tomatoes
- Tomatoes are rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium.

Wheat Germ
-If you want to get rid of pimples quickly and efficiently, make sure to include two or three tablespoons a day in your diet. Add it to cereal, yogurt, and cottage cheese.

Green tea
-Has anti-inflammatory properties. Which reduce the risk of damage from ultraviolet light (such as the burning rays of the sun), and thus reduce the risk of skin cancer.

Salmon
-Helps keep cells healthy by keeping out harmful substances as well as allowing nutrients to enter cells and exit with waste products. It also keeps the skin youthful and supple.

Classic facial mask
take 1/2 avocado and 1/4 cup of honey. Mash together these 2 ingredients for an easy face mask. Apply to your face and leave for 5 minutes before removing with a washcloth and some trepid water. You will definitely enjoy the smell and feeling of this mask on your face. Honey and avocado are particularly rich in moisturizing properties.

To prevent wrinkles
make a paste of bananas, yogurt and honey and apply it on the skin for 15-20 minutes then clean it with warm water. You’ll need 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey and 1 banana.

Refreshing tomato mask
You need 1/4 peeled and seedless tomato. Chop it. 3 teaspoons of yogurt, 1 teaspoon peeled and then grated cucumber, 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel, 3 teaspoons of oatmeal (finely ground). Additional ingredients are 2 mint leaves, fresh and crushed so the essential oils run out of the leaves. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Apply on the face and leave on for about 10 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.

Banana mask is a smoothing facial mask
-To do it, you need 1 banana, preferably ripe (you can keep ripe bananas in the freezer. Let it thaw before using), 1 tablespoon honey, an orange or a lemon. Mix the banana and honey together. Add a few drops of juice from an orange or a lemon. Apply to face for 15 minutes before rinsing with a cool washcloth or a steaming warm washcloth.

Generally honey is a natural astringent that will also help to tighten your oily skin.
- Add one apple (peeled, seeded, and cut into slices) into a blender or food processor. Add 3 tablespoons of honey. Blend the mixture well. Apply to face and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.

Oatmeal Mask
-Blend some oatmeal with water and gently spread it onto your skin. Leave it until it dries (10-15 minutes). This mask is gentle and safe.

Apple&Honey Acne Mask
- You need 1 medium apple and 4 tablespoons honey. Mix together the grated apple and honey. Smooth over your clean skin and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Rinse gently with warm water and moisturize as usual. This mask is good for oily skin that has a tendancy to break out.

How To Pick the Perfect Foundation

Before you pick the right shade, you need to find out the right formulation for your skin. Are you oily? Dry? Combination? Pick the right formula. If you're oily, look for words like 'oil-free' or 'oil-control' on the bottle. Got dry skin? Go for moisturizing foundations with 'hydrating' or 'moisture-rich' wording on the bottle. For combo skin, determine if you're more oily or dry and go from there. Cream-to-powder bases work great for combo skin.

Show up to the makeup counter with a clean, fresh face. It's OK to wear eye makeup or lipstick, even moisturizer on your face, but you don't want to show up already wearing foundation. Select a few colors that seem close to your natural skin tone.

Go for the yellow-based foundations, which look most natural on all skin tones. However, if you're very fair, try a pink, cooler shade.Apply a couple dots of each color on areas of your jawline (the inner wrist or hand aren't the best spots, contrary to popular belief).

Take a good, long look near a mirror. Don't have one, ask to borrow a hand mirror and stand near a doorway, or step outside, to see which foundation looks best in the natural light. The right shade is one that you can't see because it blends in so well. If you are purchasing from a drugstore, take a couple bottles to a doorway, hold them up to your neck and see which one matches the best.
- If your at a department store, and can't choose a shade ask for a sample and try it out at home. That way you are sure about your color.

Once you've bought the foundation, take it home and try it out. If you don't like it you can return it. If you're buying from a drugstore, purchase from one with a liberal return policy (like Rite Aid).

A foundation with sunscreen is a safe bet, but you will still need to wear sunscreen under your foundation.

*Also considering skipping foundation & opting for a tinted moisturizer instead. (I use Estee Lauder's tinted moisturizer, and love it!)

Today foundation is totally optional. It's healthier for your skin not to wear foundation daily. If you have blemishes or pimples, try placing concealer instead.

You can also just wear the foundation on the parts that need it most, likely around your nose & eyes & on your chin. Just make sure to blend properly.

When Should I Throw Out My Mascara?

Mascara is one makeup product that you want to keep an eye on. It's a breeding ground for bacteria. Most mascaras have an antibacterial agent in them that last about 6 weeks making you safe for at least a couple months and maybe safe up to 4 months.

You risk eye infection the longer you keep the product. If you notice the smell changes or the texture changes, throw it out. It's not worth it.

5 Steps to look awake and beautiful- when your not feeling it!

Step #1
Washing your face with cool water, it will tone down any swelling better than your usual warm-water rinse. Dry, then apply a calming eye gel to help soothe puffiness or under eye circles. Use your ring finger to gently tap your eye.

Step#2
Moisturize. A tired skin will look dehydrated, so apply a lotion for a healthy glowing skin.

Step#3
Cover up those blotchy red patches or dark spots. You can use a liquid foundation, or what I love- a tinted moisturizer for when your around the house or just doing errands. then, dab on some concealer on the spots needed.
Such as:
-Under your eyes
-At the inner corners of your eyes, by the bridge of your nose
-Around your nostrils
-In between your eyebrows

Smooth out the edges of the concealer for no obvious lines, then add a soft sheen loose powder for a fake glow all around.

Step#4
Illuminate your face with a color to make you look awake. Apply a pinky cream blush on the apples of your cheeks. then, a sheer pink gloss on your lips. Lastly, curl the lashes and add a deep blue mascara. The Blue helps make the white in your eye look brighter.

Step#5
Get dressed in a light, brighter hue, It will give your face a warmer glow. Try putting your hair up in a chic bun or high ponytail to direct your eye upward. Something that is not low or loose layers can make look and feel droopy.
